Dr. Neeta Warty is a leading Gynaecologist, Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgeon, and Laparoscopic Surgeon in Mumbai. A pioneer in the field of Endoscopic Surgery, also known as Non-Invasive or Keyhole Surgery, Dr. Warty specializes in advanced laparoscopic procedures such as Laparoscopic Pelvic Floor Repair, Laparoscopic Hysterectomies for Gynaecological Malignancies, and corrective surgeries for Uterine Malformations.

Dr. Neeta Warty completed her Master’s from Mumbai University, after which she received formal training in laparoscopy from Friedrich Schiller University, Jena, Germany, working with stalwarts in the field of laparoscopic onco-gynaecology such as Prof. Schneider and Prof. Marc Possover. She has also trained in laparoscopic oncology at Whipps Cross Hospital, UK. Dr. Neeta Warty has performed over 10,500 endoscopic surgeries and is credited with removing the heaviest fibroid in the world, weighing 3.4 kg, a feat recognized by the Guinness and Limca Book of Records. She is one of the few surgeons who perform the entire procedure for uterine cancer using keyhole surgery and has trained more than 800 national and international surgeons over the past twelve years.

Her name finds mention in the Guinness Book of World Records and the Limca Book of Records with the team that Laparoscopically removed the heaviest Uterine Fibroid ever reported in the world, a record she has bettered time and again over the years, the heaviest Fibroid weighing 5.6 Kgs.

She won the prestigious best Research Video Award at the 2016 American Association of Gynaecologic Laparoscopists Annual Conference.

Dr. Neeta Warty has developed Innovative Surgical Techniques that have gained significant recognition in the medical community. She pioneered the Laparoscopic Shirodkar Sling Surgery for Uterine Prolapse, a procedure featured in Shaw’s Textbook of Gynecology. Additionally, she has been acclaimed for her work on the Unification of Bicornuate Uterus, a procedure that was honored at Basel University, Switzerland. Dr. Warty has further advanced this technique by adapting it for Robotic Surgery, solidifying her role as a leader in cutting-edge Gynecological procedures.
