A developed nation is one where people have easy access to advanced healthcare at affordable costs. For me it has been a personal goal, and a professional dream to initiate a journey where the future generations of Indian women and children receive the best of medical treatment and care within their means.
Staying committed to his ambitious goal for more than thirty years, I can say I feel immensely satisfied by how Surya Hospitals has evolved from a nursing home to begin with, added neonatal care to it’s setup twenty years down the line, and expanded further to incorporate a maternity center 7 years thence, to become a full-fledged Woman & Child Super Specialty.
Indeed the journey has been long, and full of insightful challenges and learnings that have given us immense experience along the way. We have achieved unprecedented success in handling hundreds and thousands of normal, rare, and high risk admissions over the last three decades and more.
We are highly resolved and motivated to further advance our setup and services, and are working steadfastly to introducing superior facility for advanced care in gynecology, oncology and IVF in the very near future. And all this, while we expand our centers in various parts of the country.

Dr. B. S. Avasthi is an eminent pediatrician and has done pioneering work in the field of Neonatology, Allergy & Immunology.
He, during his practice of more than 27 years, has been very passionate about developing dedicated complete Super Speciality Pediatrics Hospital in our country. As first step towards achieving this goal, he started Surya Hospital in the year 1985.
